"Native variety that was very well cultivated on soils rich in calcareous stone with south/south-west exposure. The grape cluster, middle size, the grapes are disposed in cone frustum. At ripening time the peel is golden-yellow to amber-coloured, the pulp is juicy, sweet and very scented. The scented wine, gave the glorious name of the vineyard and of Pietroasa Viticultural Center, fully expressing the generosity of the place.
It is recommended to be consumed with cheese, smoked cheese, fruits, fine deserts, very elaborated."

"Vincon Vrancea Classic Pinot Noir 1995. Already on the mature side. Yes, it's been some two years in the barrel. And the Rumanian barrels aren't bad at all. - And it's a pleasure to make your festive people take off their funny noses and put their real ones to the brim of the glass: dark scents, and lots of grape flesh. The taste: a soft, nimble character pleasing many food orientations. And behind it all, a good, medium bodied structure. An enjoyable Noir in an inexpensive Pinot."
